Bronte Law who finished fourth in the Daily Telegraph Girls Grand Final in Dubai with a three round total of 216 (level)

Rian Moores (Sandiway GC) who has been selected for the Midland North Birdie squad.


Congratulations to:-

Cheshire Girls & Boys Team who retained the Matthew Brown Cup by 23 shots at Son Parc GC. At this time the annual match is drawn. The Balearic Federation of Golf won the first 2 meetings and Cheshire the last 2. Good Luck next year.(Full Results on the Junior Page) This year the Match was incorporated into the U16 Menorca Golf Junior Open. The Girls category was won by Gemma Clews with 138net followed closely by Charlotte Leathem with 140.

Isabel Slater & Dorothy Lamour (Sandiway GC) who have won the Daily Mail Foursomes Final at St Pierre GC

Laura Jones who carded a 72-72-144 total to take the individual championship trophy in the OCU Stars Fall Classic at Lincoln Park Golf Course and as part of the Oklahoma City University women’s golf team won their first tournament of the 2010-11 campaign

Rachael Goodall who has won the Liphook Scratch Trophy (72,73) six shots ahead of the field

Caroline Marron & Sue Dye who as part of the England Seniors Team competing in the European Seniors Team Championship at the Sporting Club, Berlin achieved the Silver Medal narrowly losing to Scotland in the Final 3/2

Sale Golf Club who won the Bell Cup Final in a closely fought match against Hale Golf Club winning 4/3

Emma Goddard who was runner–up in the Royal Birkdale Scratch Trophy with a two round total of 143, one behind winner Nikki Foster

Bronte Law who finished Joint 6th in the British Ladies Open Amateur Stroke Play Championships at Tenby GC. Together with Holly Clyburn they were the highest placed English players

Bronte Law who finished third at the North of England Under 16 Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship at Pannal G.C.

Poppy Finlay who has won the Best Nett at the Northern Girls Close Championship at Whitley Bay in the over 13 to under 16 category with 144 in total.  This season she has reduced her handicap from 12 to 6. (Group Photo)

Bronte Law who has qualified in 14th place for the Matchplay stages with 71, 77 in the British Girls Championship at Royal Belfast

Rachael Goodall & Natalie Lowe who won the U23 Team Trophy for Cheshire at the English Strokeplay at Whittington Heath and Emma Goddard for finishing overall 12th (296)

Charlotte Leathem (Styal) made the cut in the U15 Championship. Gemma Clews (Ashton-on Mersey) & Abi Cowlard (Stockport) gained valuable experience playing in the U18 (photo) and Poppy Finlay playing in the u15.

Bronte Law who finished joint 7th in the European Young Masters and as part of the England team just lost to France for the Bronze Medal on countback

Gemma Clews who finished fourth in the English Schools U16’s National Championships at Delamere Forest GC with rounds of 74 & 79

Bronte Law who is the Northern Ladies Champion after beating Emma Clegg (Clitheroe) 2/1 in the final at Clitheroe GC July 6th-8th. (Photo- Bronte & Emma before final). Rachael Goodhall was the top qualifier and set a new course record with her second round score of 68(6 under). Other Cheshire qualifiers were Charlotte Wild & Natalie Lowe

Caroline Marron who has been selected for the England senior team for this season’s major events. She joins Sue Dye an established senior team player

Bronte Law who teamed up with Matthew Fitzpatrick & Kieron Fowler to win the Nations Cup for England at Fairhaven. She lost on a card playoff for second place in the individual Girls event

Bronte Law who is tied top of the leaderboard in the Scottish U16 championship at Strathmore with a two-under par 70 after the first round and with her England A team mates are leading on 140, 5 shots ahead of the England B Team lying in second position. Update after second round:- After a second round of 72, Bronte finishes in 4th (Final Scoring)
