Competition Conditions
Inter Club knockout foursomes played on handicap
Competitors must be a member of the County Association and may only play for their County Home Club, but more than one couple may enter from each Club. The Winning Club to hold the Cup for one year..
Entries limited to 32 couples on a first-come basis. Round 1 will be on Tuesday am: Round 2 & Quarter Finals on Wednesday, and semi finals and Final on Thursday. No individual player to have an ‘active’ handicap over 30. Competitors may enter with a combined handicap in excess of 40 but must play off maximum 40 combined for the competition.
Play must be from CCLGA tees. ½ of the difference in combined handicap being given. Matches which are square on the 18th must be played to a finish, strokes being given as before.
A Foursomes stableford Competition (1/2 combined ‘active’ handicap) to be played on the 2nd day.
